Culture

Shir Hatzafon is a community that aims to embrace all aspects of Jewish life, and we offer various cultural and social activities. Events can be in the form of lectures and discussion meetings with Jewish content, excursions to museums or activities outdoors.

Shir Hatzafon sees it as its duty to support Jewish culture in Denmark, for example the annual New Year's concert organized by Jewish Culture in Copenhagen. We also participate in major cultural events such as the annual celebration of Israel Independence Day and we seek to provide information about cultural events of interest to the Jewish community.

Shir Hatzafon's cultural activities and events are announced in the calendar and our monthly newsletter. Events that are not arranged or sponsored by Shir Hatzafon can also be published on our calendar, as long as they have Jewish content and are open to all.
