We need...

The word Synagogue comes from the Greek word for "assembly". Shir Hatzafon currently rents the rooms where we hold our religious services and events. Our community's hope and goal is a building in Copenhagen, where members can come together for worship, study and social events throughout the week. A building of approx. 400 m2 situated centrally in Copenhagen could be given new life if it becomes available for Shir Hatzafon.

Shir Hatzafon is in the process of establishing a Jewish cemetery in Copenhagen guided by Progressive Jewish burial customs and practices. For this project, we need to assemble a start capital of approx. DKK 250,000. Contributions are welcome.
