Ben Zoma said: "Who is wise? He who learns from every person ..." (Pirkei Avot 4:1)
Jews are called the people of the book and being Jewish is a lifelong learning process. There is hardly any world religion, which throughout history has generated so much learning material as Judaism has in all aspects of life - big and small.
No matter whether you are interested in the Torah, the Talmud, Rabbinic literature, Bible stories, criticism or commentaries, Kabbalah (Jewish mysticism), Jewish philosophy, prose, poetry, art and culture or historical and political events, there is an approach that will lead you to greater Jewish learning.
Shir Hatzafon encourages all our members to enrich themselves and their surroundings through Jewish learning. We offer opportunities for learning and study for everyone from the youngest ages up throughout life.
It is never too late to learn!
